This workshop is all about getting the best results from this lovely yarn. Aimed at Kidsilk Haze novices as well as those who have tried it and who may already be addicted, the day covers a range of techniques. These include choosing the right cast-on for your project, knitting with beads and sequins, knitting embellishments and frills, and making gorgeous corsages and flowers.
The workshop is also about gaining confidence with the yarn and exploring it's wealth of creative opportunities.
Alison has written two knitting design books, 'Shibori Knitted Felt' and 'Little Luxury Knits', both published by Rowan. The latter is dedicated to luxury accessories in Kidsilk Haze. Her third book, 'Lace Knits: 21 delicate lace designs in Kidsilk Haze', will be published in 2011.
